Short version. Respondly uses a single, strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. No consent banner is required for strictly necessary cookies under GDPR.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. Cookies can be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (remain on your device until they expire or you delete them).
2. Cookies we use
Respondly uses only the following cookies:
| Cookie name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you logged in between pages. Set by Supabase Auth. | Strictly necessary | Session / 1 hour (refreshed automatically) |
| oauth_state | Temporary CSRF protection token used during OAuth flows (Gmail, Slack, etc.). | Strictly necessary | 10 minutes (deleted after OAuth completes) |
3. What we do NOT use
We explicitly do not use:
- →Third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel)
- →Advertising or retargeting cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads)
- →Social media tracking cookies
- →Fingerprinting or device tracking technologies
4. Legal basis
The cookies described above are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Without them, you cannot log in or use the platform. Under GDPR and the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet, Art. 11.7a), strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent.
5. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling the session cookie will prevent you from logging in to Respondly, as it is required for authentication. Instructions for common browsers:
